2. Oconee – Located just an hour east of Atlanta sits Oconee, a resort paradise. Our camping guests can find beautiful waterfront sites all around the lake at Parks ferry Campground, Lake Oconee KOA, and Old Salem Campground. And for the golf fans in the family, the 10,000-acre resort community Reynolds Lake Oconee boasts 117 holes of golf, plus the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and ten restaurants on site.

3. Lure – Located just south of Asheville, NC, Lake Lure is a hiker's dream. The Hickory Nut Gorge provides fantastic views and a hike to the 404-foot Hickory Nut Falls. It's no wonder that Dirty Dancing  and The Last of the Mohicans were both filmed in this gorgeous location.
