RV-cation: Tennessee Whiskey Trail

Whiskey lovers, this trip is for you.

Perhaps the best part of our location here at Camp South RV is the proximity to the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. We’re located in the heart of Nashville where you can set off in any direction to discover the best distilleries in Tennessee. Below are three of our picks, but the Tennessee Whiskey Trail includes 25 unique distilleries. For more information on each, visit: Tennessee Whiskey Trail

Let’s start in our backyard at Corsair Distillery. Located in the middle of the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, Corsair was founded in 2008 and established itself as Nashville’s first craft distillery in Nashville since prohibition. This inventive, modern, distillery has amassed over 800 medals at national & international spirits competitions.

Jack Daniel’s Distillery

Clearly this brand, known world-wide, needs no introduction. Located just an hour and a half from Camp South RV, visitors can partake in a variety of experiences and tours at the distillery and within the quaint town of Lynchburg, TN. Tours run daily from 9a – 4:30p that allow guests to taste whiskey flights, draw from barrels, and sit down for a home-cooked meal.

Chattanooga Whiskey Co.

Chattanooga is a fantastic city in its own right, and now you’ve got one more reason to take the two hour trip down I-24. Founded in 2011 and officially open for business in 2015, Chattanooga Whiskey Company became the first distillery in Chattanooga in over 100 years. Chattanooga Whiskey Company has two locations; its Riverfront Distillery & Event Space and downtown Chattanooga Experimental Distillery cocktail lounge.
