NASCAR Announces A Return to Nashville in 2021

This month marked a huge announcement for NASCAR fans located in the greater Nashville area. NASCAR will bring a Cup Series race to Music City in 2021. Though the exact dates are yet to be announced, the race will be held out at the 1.33 mile Nashville Superspeedway. The host of this event, Dover Motorsports, will spend $8-10 million dollars over the next two years bringing the track back up to NASCAR standards. Capacity at the Nashville Superspeedway is currently 25,000, but that figure could double by the time the renovation is complete.
